An interesting week

Friday 2nd October | 2 comments

We have continued to work exceptionally hard this week and have also thoroughly enjoyed our first week of playtimes in the dens. The children have been busy building and constructing a wide range of dens and I am excited to see them develop further next week.

This week we have built on our planning from last week to write our very own set of instructions for survival. Time openers and modal verbs were a huge focus during this task and the children took on the challenge well. We have lots of wonderful tips and suggestions to survive however lots of the children are not sure that anyone will actually get out alive!

Tectonic plates! This week we explored the tectonic plate boundaries and the three main types of plates. The children already had a good knowledge of the plates and what impact they had on our world. I was really pleased with the standard of work produced and the time and care taken over the detailed drawings completed. Well done everyone!
